Hummus where the heart is! (come on, that's cute pun and you know it)
Being a nanny and on-the-go, always...this lunch has saved the day so many times! It's easy to prepare and full of healthy fats, carbs and proteins. Keeping your blood sugar in check and tummy full.
Some staple products for my protein boxes:
Whole Foods Garlic Hummus (sometimes I'll mix in a little bit of turmeric into it...for a skin booster)
Organic hard boiled eggs (always)
Fresh water based vegetables...like celery, cucumber and carrots!
Different add ins are the basic gluten free crackers or fruit option.
For a crunch I will use "Simple Mills" brand crackers. Some favorites include the rosemary and sea salt or everything kind!
Fruit is rotated between raspberries and blueberries.
But feel free to change it up and get creative!
